Who didn’t think that the suggestion of putting an external funicular railway onto the Stockholm Globe was someone’s idea of a joke? We were perhaps one of the few who immediately realized that it could be done and that it could be done in style. We are absolutely delighted to have been commissioned to build a cable railway on the Globe. The cable railway is being constructed with two gondolas which can move up and down independently of each other. Obviously the design and function have been specially conceived to fit in with the Globe’s surroundings.

Office modules

In a big office complex in Stockholm the conference rooms have been designed as free-hanging modules. Liftbyggarna accepted a commission to provide the office block with 31 architect-designed suspended conference room modules. We built the modules at our site in Ostersund, approx. 4x6 meters in dimension. We then supplied them fully equipped with carpets, painted walls, sprinkler and ventilation systems, electrical wiring and whiteboards. All ready to plug in at the wall. They are now suspended between the seventh and eleventh floors with each conference room being reached by gangways.
